Extract from an e-mail of 13th Jan 2005 from Peter Rodda (Robin's brother):
The photo above is of my brother John Robin Rodda (propping up the others) taken about 1946/7
My brother Robin died in Aug 1990 aged 59. He was 8 years my senior so have few memories of him being at school. I think
he was in Rhodes House. He started at the PoW in September 1945 and left in March 1950. I remember him boxing a guy called
Munro who beat him on points. At that time, the boxing programme commenced with a dozen juniors blindfolded let loose in
the ring, great amusement for the spectators but not a lot of fun for the participants who frequently received unexpected
painful punches from nowhere.
I have no idea who the other boys are in the photo.
