4th Old Cambrian Society South African reunion at Stonehaven Castle, Shongweni, Durban - 4th Oct 2009
L-R: Terence Powell (Hawke 1938-43), Vincent Campion (Nicholson 1953-6), Greg Stanley (Hawke 1959-61), Dave Leslie (Hawke 1960-5) and Muff Becker (Scott 1949-53)

South Africa's fourth reunion and number three for Stonehaven Castle.

Although widely advertised in the media, by radio, email, sms and word of mouth I feel a little let down. Several people who booked did not show and our numbers from the Prince of Wales were only five members, but with Duko and other schools our total sat at fifteen. I think we all had a good laugh and chatted about the good old days comparing notes and sharing old adventure stories.

The weather was hot and a tad windy which was good for the flag. Everybody enjoyed their lunch and drinks and all parted saying, "Same time, same place, next year...... but we would like more members".

Regards

Dave Leslie (Hawke 1960-1965)
