A raffle took place of a signed and numbered limited edition of the book "Queen of the Mara" by Dave Drummond
(Clive/Grigg 1947-50), which he donated to the Society just a couple of months before he passed away in 2007.
All those present gave very generously with a total amount of £418 being raised. The winner was Simon Morris
(Clive 1956-60), but he immediately re-donated it back to the Society to be auctioned. Bidding was brisk, and
the hammer eventually fell to a bid of £100 from Bernard Dokelman (Rhodes 1960-3).
