On a recent trip to visit my brother and his family in South Africa, I took the opportunity to meet up with some old
Princo and Kenya Regiment pals who I hadn’t seen for 40+ years!! Also visited Howick (near Pietermaritzburg) and
Hluhluwe-Imfolozi game park in KZN; trekked (by 4-wheel drive) into Lesotho via the Sani Pass in the Drakensberg (an
excuse for something called a road) and played some golf on the South Coast at the Wild Coast course and Port
Shepstone CC, narrowly finishing our game before a violent lighting storm.
