An extract from an e-mail of 18th Nov 2006 from Ed Coleman to Webmaster:
I was in the UK for a couple of weeks during the second half of May. My wife Bev and I were doing our once in a lifetime
European Tour. We had a wonderful time (Turkey, Spain, France, England, Holland, Belgium, Denmark and Czech Republic).
A bit hectic sometimes, as travelling can be, but unfortunately, while trying to fit too much into 11 weeks, Jersey didn't
make it onto our itinerary!!
Once I realised that our route took us right by Runcorn, I rang Dave Masheder and we met in a coffee shop and passed the time of
day for a few hours. It was really good to catch up with some one from my past.
