The wide shot of the pool shows a fence erected to keep the ngombes out
of the area, and otherwise just shows the pool as is. The teleshot shows
how the pool has been considerably shortened...probably from 25 yards to
20 metres, with what looks like two learners' pools in the foreground. Also
of interest is the very 'safi' housing which has sprung up in the valley,
where once were shambas.....a very reliable source of sugar cane, not
always paid for!
