Nairobi School - Groups 1990

It was 1990, and we were in the year of the first fourth formers to become school senoirs after the demise of the 5th and
6th form system ....... there was a national change in the education system in 1984 from the 7-6-3 system to 8-4-4 (8 years
of primary, 4 years of high school, and 4 years of university).
Centre of the photo is Jimmy Mwangi. The girls were from Moi Nairobi Girls High School and the year was either 1989 or 1990.
I can't remember the reason for the social occasion, but at the time these were the girls winning/stealing our hearts
from the Boma (Kenya High School)!! During the provincial drama festivals, it was always either they won the best play
and we won the best dance, or vice versa ........... but we always went to the Nationals together!!
