Here is a scan of both sides of a copper medal (approx 38 mm in diameter) that I have from The Prince of Wales School inscribed "1939 - Cricket Ball - 1st"
and despite much research I have failed to find out who it was awarded to.
I went to the school in 2001 and saw the Headmaster, but despite a search of old records (for what they were worth)
nothing came to light. So it may well be up to someone who may have a long memory or an old sports program.
