Clive House Dorm Veranda - 1951?

This photo of the Clive dorm veranda was taken in 1951 (or maybe ’52 !). A bed on the veranda, which held about six beds,
was coveted by most and usually grabbed by the first to arrive at start of term. Note the dhobi bags, hats, lockers, etc.
I believe the occupant in the first bed in the photo is Tony Waldegrave – probably reading a National Geographic
magazine – which he always seemed to have a large collection. I had the bed at the far end.
