Alan Beadle meets Mr Robert Masese, Principal of Nairobi School
I visited the School on my first day in Nairobi - really enjoyed showing my wife and daughter around. It wasn't quite as
big as I remembered it as a young boy - or as intimidating - but good to be back!
Obviously 40+ years on, its age was showing but everybody was extremely friendly - Mr Masese very welcoming (see photo)
and I also met several other members of staff and was told not to stay away for another 40 years!
The rest of the trip to Kenya was superb - visited Samburu, Mount Kenya, Lake Nakuru, Masai Mara, Tsavo East and West and
relaxed for a week in Mombasa. My daughter definitely intends to return and who knows, one day I may visit again.
