The combined brass & bugle bands. We performed in both military cadet and school uniforms
In 1954 or 1955 the School Band entered and won, Kenya's brass band competition. This was a highlight for the school
as also entered were 2 or 3 bands from the British military forces stationed for the war effort. I know one band was the
Black Watch. Other entrants were police and various Kenya Regiment bands. They were full time musicians.
