I have only recently come across the Old Cambrian Society website.
Sadly, I have to inform you of the death of my mother, Peggy Welford, on 24th October 2003, in a Ballarat (Australia)
nursing home. She was 90.
Peggy Welford was the San Matron from January 1958 until December 1967. I believe she was well liked by most of the
students and staff of that time and I know that many will be sad to hear of her death. She always remembered her time at
the Prince of Wales School very fondly.
