The daily trudge to school from Grigg House. The memorable shape of Mount Kenya to the north.
Sunday .... Exeat .... a kind friend, Tom Hinett often invited me to enjoy time with his family. This was always
a treat
Listening to the ‘forces’ radio - in the dorm.
At the end of term…the long and winding train journey home to Kampala.
What I have done since leaving School:
Strathclyde University, Glasgow .... a degree in Business Economics
Corporate Pensions (Sales) for Noble Lowndes (now known as Mercer) in their Glasgow Office
Director of HSBC Actuaries & Consultants in their Edinburgh Office
Now working for an IFA - Cavanagh Group in Edinburgh – Retirement is on the horizon!
Was married in 1967; now divorced and living in Edinburgh.
