Memories of School:
Extremely Happy times – Prefect Hawke House – 1stXV Rugby, 1stII Football, School Swimming and Hockey teams; then went on
to the Kenya Regiment with most of my school rafikis.
Since leaving School and the Kenya Regiment, have worked in all areas of the Tea and Coffee Industries, starting with
planting and manufacture in various shambas throughout East Africa, the Congo, Rwanda, Malawi and Mozambique.
Emmigrated to the USA in 1972 and have been self employed since that time as a tea importer/coffee broker, returning to
Kenya and Ethiopia 3/4 times a year, consulting on tea and coffee production. In the USA I have a specialty Tea and Coffee
company with my daughter. Will probably make tracks back to Kenya and retirement in the next couple of years.
