Memories have come flooding back after browsing the PoW web site, and after looking at Nicholson House photos on the site
with me as the boxing champion in 1960.
Memories:
Sports - Boxing, Rugby, Cricket, Hockey
Hobbies - Acting..literally....appeared at The Donovan Maule Theatre in The Mikado as "Koko". Also appeared
with the English Theatre Company as the lead role of "Oliver" in the musical Oliver
Dearest friends were Adrian Grimwood, Bill Popplton, Richard Cox, and his brother (I think was) Martin Cox.
Remember David Thande, the first black pupil at the school in Nicholson House
Headmaster was Oliver Wigmore
Since leaving School:
Joined the Royal Navy and served 33 years; and left in 1995 as a Royal Naval Commander.
Went to Hong Kong and became a club manager for the expatriate club, The LRC at 10 Old Peak Road.
After 8 years, I then came to Singapore and am currently the General Manager of the famous
Tanglin Club in Orchard Road.
If you want to see a photo of me as I am now,
see http://www.tanglinclub.org.sg/contact/gm_message.asp
It would be great to be in touch with anyone who remembers me.
