My father worked for Owen Falls Construction Company, Jinja, Uganda and I was sent by EAR&H to boarding school in
Nairobi. I spent three terms at the PoW ...... Junior, Intermediate and Senior houses. I Iearnt my English there.
Fletcher was the Headmaster.
I can recall several teachers more by their actions than their names.
I recall defenses around the dorms during the emergency.
Last ex-student I met was Dr.Peter Wurzel in Nairobi - Westland in about 1988. He was a prefect in Inter. (I think Clive)
in 1954. I last visited school in 1990.
I live in Zimbabwe.
