Memories of school, too numerous to list - main accomplishment was an expertise at skiving
games.
After leaving School, went to Aberdeen University (1963-1967). Educational psychologist
since 1971 - first in Edinburgh, subsequently with British Forces schools in Cyprus (and
outreach to Malta and Naples), and then in Germany.
Since 1982 have been working in the Orkney Islands, Scotland.
Married, one
daughter. Principal hobby was sailing, is now flying - main excitement is an annual trip to
France/Spain by motor glider..
Nostalgic revisit to a rather shabby PoW in 1997. The gavel in Grigg/Hawke dining room was
still on the prefect's table and the Head of House name board still adorned the wall of the
prep room.
