Memories of School:
Living under canvas in the main quad, first term whilst accommodation was being completed. Then a spell in the
intermediate facility, before finally moving into new buildings up next to the stables where Mr. James had his horses.
"Bush" & "Vluitje", another was the American "I'll put you in my local incinerator for two hours on Saturday
afternoon" referring to detention in the science lab, ground floor of main building.
Stanning, Georgiaddis and a few other older boys were used as teachers because of the War.
Since leaving School:
Kenya Regiment & KPR during "Mau-Mau", then Merchant navy (engineer) S.Africa, railways, BP, Shell, Durban City Police,
Highway Patrol, got married and moved to Australia 1976, newspaper security, have now retired.
Living in Murrumbeena, Victoria, Australia.
