Good memories of school.
1968 University of Natal, Pietermaritzburg, B.Comm course abandoned Dec 1968 for a job in coffee
farming in Kiambu, which was fun.
Married Maryvonne (nee Antoine)17th April 1971, the best day of my life! Daughter Lara, 29 years
old, married to Richard Lakin. They live in NSW Australia with son Henry (4yrs) and daughter
Isabelle (2yrs). Son Lee, 27 years old, married to Jessica (nee Rogers). Works with us in
Rongai.
Maryvonne and I still live in Kenya. Since 1972 we have been agricultural contracting and
farming in partnership with brother, Steve Rose (PoW, N.S., 1963 - 67). Brother Bob, (PoW 1951-4,
Nicholson) lives in Harare and brother Peter lives in Salt Rock, Natal.
Note - 6 more Scott House guys live within ½ hour to 1½ hours drive from us:
Geoff and Bruce Nightingale, Ricky Brendon, George Manual, Dave Tooley, Steve Rose.
We see
Carol and George Zibarras (PoW 1963-67/8) and Liz and Boris Tisminiezsky (Scott 1962-66) in Nairobi
from time to time.
Jenny and Steve Taylor (we had a lot of fun in the Scott and school boxing
teams 1961-63) hosted us warmly in Sydney June 2002. I had not seen Steve since Aug 1963.
In Dec
2002 we met up with Marion and John Coxall (Nicholson 1961-64) in Lydenburg, Mpumulanga at our
son's marriage to Jessica at the Rogers' Manor Guest House and had a great time.
I would really like to know where two good buddies may be:

Canadian Dave Stirling (Fletcher, 1964-66).
