On leaving school I returned to the UK and joined the army where I trained with the Royal Engineers as a topographical
surveyor. I left the Army after six years service and joined an insurance company. I eventually became a financial
advisor and took early retirement in 2001. I then spent two years working for Mencap in a workshop for mentally and
physically handicapped adults. My wife and I retired full time in 2003 and bought a holiday home in South Carolina.
We now spend as much time as our Visa will allow in the USA and periodically return to the UK.
I have re-visited Africa many times over the years including Kampala and Jinja in Uganda where I used to live.
I recently met up with my old school buddy Dan Hughes and I would love to hear from any of the pupils of the Kampala
Primary school who also attended the Princo. Names that come to mind are Marcus Adams, Harry Brice, Simon Morris,
John Foote, John & Edwin Stanley and Graham Doupe. I would also like to know what happened to Frank Kynoch and 'Tubby'
Williams who were both in Nicholson House.
"Home" is Lexington, South Carolina (USA) and Andover, Hampshire (UK)
