I remember, perhaps it was the best or worst day of my life, when I arrived at school for swimming sports day after a
leave of absence to work on a film. 'Jake' (Fletcher) spotted me strutting across the compound. I was wearing a scarlet
shirt, socks rolled down, a pair of old tackies, sporting a crew cut and smoking a State Express 555 without a care in

On leaving the Prince of Wales I farmed for a year or two, moved to the UK, freelanced in the feature film and television
world. Married a Canadian and moved to Canada to work with educational television for 24 years. Now retired and living
in Peterborough, Ontario.
