I was at PoW from 1959 until 1963, in Scott house.

Finished my schooling in the UK,  returned to Kenya in 1965 and worked as a junior instructor at the Outward Bound School,  Loitokitok before joining the British Army in 1967. I was commissioned into the Royal Artillery in 1969, and transferred to the Gordon Highlanders in 1980.

I retired from the Army in 2000, worked at the Royal School of Artillery at Larkhill in Wiltshire as a civil servant until 2014.

I am now retired and living, most of the year, in Spain.
