Arrived in Tuba in northern Uganda in 1947 aged 4. I attended Hill School, Eldoret and then the PoW before returning to
the UK in 1961.
Joined the RAF in 1962, air traffic control and served in Northern Ireland, Northumberland, Lincoln and Singapore.
Married in 1966 prior to our 2½ year honeymoon in Singapore! Still together, two adult children and two grandchildren.
After the RAF we had various Post Offices and businesses in the UK, but sold up in 2005 and now work from home producing
local cards and calendars from our own artwork.
