It was a good surprise to find the names of my old friends in this registry. They are Bruce Ferguson, Edmund Fordham,
Brian Heater, Mark Mathews and John McCormick.
Memories of School:
Everybody was friendly and tolerant to the only Japanese in the school.
English was always the challenge.
Participated in geology and golf clubs.
Since leaving the School:
Returned to Japan in May 1968.
Received MD (1980) and PhD (1988) degrees from Osaka University School of Medicine.
I have been engaged in the medical practice and research for 27 years both in Japan and USA.
Currently I am the head of the hemodialysis center in National Cardiovascular Center. I am an author or a co-author
of more than 200 medical publications written in Japanese or English. I am a member of editorial board staff of one
international and two domestic medical journals.
I live in Kobe, Japan
