Some Memories of Nairobi School:
1. It was never called Nairobi (Boys or High) School – just Nairobi School or “Patch”
2. I was Class Monitor most of my years so I fairly well remember a good number of my form 1 classmates- whose
names I called out during roll call every morning until - well, say second or third form. They were, as I recall:

3. 1976 Joined 'Patch' Form 1K – in Junior House then transferred to Tana (Intermediate) House

8. 1981 Head of School 1st term so moved down to HOS’s Study; witnessed Fourth form riot near end of the 1st term
9. Declined to resume office as Head of School in the 2nd term; Odhiambo J appointed Head of School.
10. 1981 – Back to Baringo House where I was kindly hosted by Head of House Gerald Bomett
11. Left 1981 – UVIArts 4 principal subjects, 2 subsidiary.
12. 1983 - University of Nairobi, Faculty of Law
