Memories of School:
Chura hops at 3 am on the concrete slab by the entrance of marsabit house, Chura hops round Tana House, Mbuthia and
Mulili (TK) majestic walk, Sunday quad, Tana House press ups with legs on the tables, Mrs Kabetu's smile and etc, Miss
Kyalo's swing walk, Mr Kimweli's wrath for smiling at his dear wife, Mr Kyungu's (Headmaster) shrubs, Kadada's pose
(then Housemaster of Marsabit) while administering cuts in front of his peeping daughters, Kijana's (Mr
Karanja) cuts at the metal workshop - horigan horrd, loaf matches against seniors (of course as juniors we had to lose),
being sent to the tuckshop for combys - you rabble, stupid throw away those samos, witnessing kites (birds) snatching /
scouping combys from unsuspecting seniors - quite hilarious, Mrs Amunga's chapple singing, Rev Ameka's twenging competing
with Mr Zachs. Mr Zachs kilo slaps for forgetting PE kits - men which bush do you come from? Slap !, Zablon - school
transport, sato night movies at the school hall - rabble being harassed to dance blues before movies and to call their
parents using smelly shoes as phone receivers, Kybes Ngotos but most of all DH trades, pushing coins up and down the
domitory with your nose while on knees, kneeling on inverted bottle top crowns at the prefects common room, frog jumps
while carrying bricks at Naivasha House under the terror supervision of Nyamodi senior and sleeping under monitor's beds
as punishment ......... just to mention but a few.
