I have just come across your web page (31 Dec 2003) and on looking through your OC Alumni for
the letter 'M', I have noticed that you have virtually no pre-war or wartime Alumni.
Clive Housemaster was H W Stokes during my time at the school.
After leaving School, I enlisted in the Army for 2½ years before reading for an Arts degree at
Rhodes University. I then joined the Colonial Administrative Service and worked in Kenya for
13 years.
After spending 5 years in New Zealand, my family and I migrated to Western Australia
where I was employed at the University of Western Australia for 18 years.
My wife and I are now living in retirement in Perth, Western Australia.
