Things weren't necessarily as good in my day as they were back in the 'old days', but I must
say I had the best and most memorable years of my life at the School.
I boarded at Naivasha House. I don't know if you had the same names back then, but Naivasha is
the really old dorm house close to the music room. It's at the junction of the road leading to
Athi House & Serengeti House and the one going to Baringo House & Kirinyaga House.
(Note from Webmaster: Naivasha is a senior house, and its base is the old Junior House buildings)
The most Memorable times at Nairobi school must have been watching the rugby team play against
Lenana, Hillcrest, R.V.A and St. Marys school. I would have loved to play for the rugby team
just like any other Nairobi School student, but the competition was really tough so I ended up
on the second string team.
Am currently living in Minneapolis, Minnesota, U.S.A. There are a lot of Old Cambrians here in
Minneapolis, and we talk once in a while. Anyway, am just glad to know that there's other Prince
of Wales (Nairobi) School alumni out there.
