Career: Art Historian, appointed Lecturer in History of Art, University
of Bristol 1970; subsequently Senior Lecturer, Head of Department
1979-1996 and 2002-2003, Dean of Faculty of Arts 1996-2002.
There is some stuff about me, I gather, on my Department's website
www.bristol.ac.uk/Depts/ArtHistory, and a brief entry in Debrett's
People of Today.
My brother Peter (Scott 1957-1961) and I were brought up on the PoW compound (I was in
fact born there) where our father, William (Bill) Liversidge (died 1993)
taught geography, history, was at one time Housemaster of Grigg, Second
Master, OC/CCF, etc (on the staff 1945-63), and I seem to remember ran
the Old Cambrian Society as well, and produced a number of the OC Lists which my mother
(Molly L) typed up.
