Peter Mukundi Karanja

Nicknames: Kush
House: Tana (Fletcher)
Years: 1995-1998

Memories:
I nostalgically remember the days of horror as a "Rabble" in Tana getting acclimatised to Patch and what would go on to become some of the best 4 years of my life. All the experiences I endured and enjoyed from washing prefect Agoro's re-wound and stinking rugby socks, (who by the way I think had seen the better part of his mid to late 20's in Patch!!) to playing every prefect's favourite "passtime" i.e. golfing, to practically taking over the main dining hall when only in second form, to skiving school in order to attend funkies (Outings). Who can forget those uniting and electrifying rugby matches against any and all schools who formed an interesting mix of ally and rival schools depending on how Patcherians woke up that day. There are too many memories that I hold dear and some that I was too eager to forget from Patch. However, if I could do it all over again, I would gladly attend Nairobi School all over again.

Since leaving school: Like many Patcherians who had the opportunity, I left Kenya for the States. As of August 2004, I graduated from Northeastern Illinois University (majoring in Economics with a minor in Political Science) and since August todate (Dec 22nd 2004) I have been working with National City Bank as a Consumer Banker in Chicago.
