Memories of School:
Probably the thickest person in Scott house during that era but still made prefect!!!!
Loved the sports and thought the world of old “Stork”.
Since leaving School:
I worked for George Webb in Nanyuki the joined the Royal Australian Navy initially for nine years.
I became an electronics technician working on gun systems, then Sonar systems, then Missile systems.
Re upped for 3 more years to get a course in the USA where I meet my wife Betty.
Married and took her and her two sons back to Australia. On completion of my time in the RAN we returned to
Virginia Beach, USA.
I became a US citizen in 1983 and have been working for Raytheon, a US Defense contractor, as a senior service
technician overhauling, testing and maintaining the NATO Seasparrow missile system.
I lost Betty to cancer in 1993 but married one of her Nurses (Ruth) in 1999. I am truly twice blessed of God. Yes, for
those that may remember me, I do now know Jesus and am returning to Kenya this May 2006 on a short mission trip to the
Harruma Baptist Church in Nairobi.
I am now living in Virginia Beach, Virginia, with Ruth and I have 4 step sons and 1 step daughter 4 grand sons and 3
grand daughters and loving life. I keep fairly fit though not as fit as my Dr. would like.
Anyway, thanks for the chance to get in touch with the old school mates, and with luck I may hear from someone I knew
way back then! I am trying to contact Boris Tisminiezky and Humphrey Nightingale so anyone who knows of their
whereabouts, I'd really appreciate hearing from you.
