I was in Tana (1983), Naivasha (1984) then Serengeti(1985-1986).
Memories of the School:
Receiving a total of four school band colours (trumpet player). Inspired by music teachers the late Nancy Amunga
(1983-1986), Okoth Rajuaya (1985-1992)and Malcolm Floyd (1983-1985) and learnt how to play various Kenyan and Western
instruments.
Since leaving School:
I am pursuing a Ph.D. in Musicology/Ethnomusicology at York University, Canada.
I worked as director of music in a number of private schools in Kenya and Canada.
I have been teaching music and social sciences at York University, Canada from 2003.
Living in Castlemore, Ontario, Canada.
