Using Google, I came across the OCS site. I hadn't known of its existence, though a friend of a son had told me I could
find a picture of the band on Funga Safari. Fascinated to read of the exploits of my colleagues, must go back and spend
time on it!
Does anyone know if Bertie Lockhart is still alive? Today I just felt I had to try and find out what had become of him.
Pictures of the drum head service for the Trafalgar 200 anniversiary had me wondering what had become of the dear old soul.
Never forgotten his tale about the size of your (band) instrument and the number of girls, diamonds, etc. you could balance
on it!
