After leaving school, joined Royal Air Force in the U.K.
Left the RAF, career in electronics, moved to South Africa and joined Phillips and headed R & D department,
in Johannesburg.
Married to Carmen Wag in 1968 and have a son, Adrian. Still married to Carmen.
Established a lock manufacturing company with Carmen in Benoni, South Africa, became the third largest manufacturer
in S.A and sold the company in 1999.
Moved to Australia ,Gold Coast, Queeensland to retire.
