Used to farm on Elgon and then spent a few years in Botswana (Bechuanaland then) before moving to Western Australia in 1965.
40 years in government forestry, then about to retire when I got an offer to join Great Southern Plantations Limited. I now
spend most of my time in an aircraft travelling around Asia and Australia, but quite envigorating after government.
