Memories:
Pretty positive overall. Spent a bit too much time on sport and
'extra-curricular activities' hence dropped out of my Higher School Certificate ( 'A' Level )
course at a fairly late stage which was rather stupid of me!
Since Leaving School:
Did a bit of Farm Management at Kitale and Limuru.
Completed my national service in the Kenya Regiment. Joined the KCC in Eldoret as a Management
Trainee. In March 1962 left Kenya with a heavy heart to join the R.A.F. as a Pilot...(yes, I too
was amazed that they accepted me!).
After completion of a short service commission I left the
Military and entered Civil Aviation where I have been ever since. Currently still slogging away
as a Boeing 737 Captain age 61 with EASYJET out of London, Luton Airport.
Married (to Sally) with 2 sons age 30 and 28.
