Memories of School:
Far too many to mention here. I may send another e-mail of reminiscences. (The home made gun. The brewery under senior
study. Pa Fletcher "stealing" a bicycle. The perfect alibi for explosions at the Convent....)
Since leaving School:
Did my stint in the Regiment and worked for the government chemist for a short while.
Joined Otis Elevator Company in 1961. Worked for them mainly in Kenya and Uganda but had many trips to Tanganyika,
Zambia, and Ethiopia.
Left East Africa in 1987 and simultaneously retired from Otis.
I now live in south-eastern Spain (Mojácar in Almería province), and I publish two magazines for the ex-pat community.
