Memories of School:
I remember Flakey (I thought it was because of his skin, which flaked) one time when Assembly was very rowdy and
really out of control (can't remember why); none of the staff present had any effect. I was at the back in the choir.
Flakey came in the back entrance and simply walked down the middle aisle and as he went, row by row in turn became quiet
until he arrived at the front and all was quiet. Very impressive display of conrol by fear, I think. Just wish I could
have done that.
Since leaving School:
Went to the UK, various jobs while studying, part time, qualified as a Barrister and Chartered Secretary. Spent 3 years
in Oil Distribution, 3 years at BAC Filton (with Concorde) and 30 years in capital goods industry (machines and plant
for food, chemical and related industries). The company grew from £100million turnover to £7billion and I with it,
travelling extensively world wide. Retired in 1997.
I now live in North Wales and North Philippines (Luzon).
