Since leaving School:
Immigrated with family to Australia in 1963
Settled in Bathurst, NSW on a sheep property,’ Pine Ridge’
Topped the state of NSW in Wool Classing in 1966
Played soccer for City Redtops, Bathurst First division
Married Carol Rosen, registered nurse, in February 1968 in Bathurst
Father sold ‘Pine Ridge’ in 1969
Worked as a computer operator in Sydney for 12 months. Hated city life returned to Bathurst
Next worked as contract timber cutter and fencer
Owned Paint and Wallpaper shop in Bathurst from 1972-1976
In 1976 bought property ‘Caithness’ at Crowther (near Young) and have lived here since
I have always enjoyed rural life, trained thoroughbreds for many years and for the past 10 years have been breeding horses and standing stallion ‘Volcanic Prince’ on our property.
Have three wonderful children – Sean 35yrs, Hayley 33yrs and Anna 25 yrs
4 grandchildren (and would like more) – Thomas , Bridget, Benjamin and Gabrielle
