Memories: Mostly good, probably because the memory tends to block out the
bad bits!
On leaving School, went to Edinburgh to study accountancy. Never qualified
but had a h**l of a good time. Lived in and around Edinburgh for 30 years.
Joined subsidiary of Twinings (the tea company) in Edinburgh in 1960, and had a
number of roles within Twinings until retiring in December 2002. Last 15 years
were as UK Commercial Director based at Twinings HO in Andover, Hampshire.
Married Edna in 1965, 2 grown up children and 3 grandchildren.
