I was the one that drew the cartoons taken from the Impala mag and kept by Bill Liversidge.
He later lived in Abingdon and became a politician (I think) whilst we lived in Oxford.
I do remember that he was hugely impressed with the likeness that he thought
I achieved of him! So they still exist - amazing!
The little guy was actually a government official called Vesey or Vasey (I
think) who was on some kind of inspection. It was all during the start of
the Mau-Mau thing.
I recognise quite a number of the students of my time and can provide what
little help I am able, if you wish. I think some of the names attributed
are incorrect. Long time ago, of course. Fletcher was the Head in my
time.
Clive House shows a chap called Terry Clegg - he was a formidable boxer
(now an architect - my training too - retired, I suppose. I have the
scars on my nose and teeth to this day! I remember Roger Whittaker and also MacFarlane the phenomenal high jumper.
They were of my time.
