   Frank Comolli

Frank Edward Comolli

House: Nicholson
Years: 1963-1964

Memories of school:
I was only there for a short while, so my memories are few. We had moved from Mombasa to Kisumu shortly before I enrolled at the PoW.

I joined the school band and spent most of my practice time smoking in the bushes with the other skivers. I used a great deal of energy ducking 'Chut' Silver, whom I was inefficiently fagging for at that time, even though he was a pretty decent Dorm Pre. They finally got fed up with me and I had to run the gauntlet one morning before breakfast, a painful experience, but it taught me not to get caught again. I still think it was a great school.

After leaving school:
We returned to Brighton for a while. I went back to Kisumu in 1967 and studied Building and Construction while working as a site agent for various contractors.

In 1971 I went to Norway and have lived here ever since. In 1987 I closed down my interior decorating business due to a slack in the market, and took up music on a full time basis – teaching and entertaining at various functions. The last 3 years I have returned to studying and have qualified in Cisco-Networks administration-mcse, and I am currently studying market management in which I will take my final exam in June 2005.
