The family lived in Jinja. I went to the PoW from the Hill School Eldoret. I spent one year in Juniors and then
went on to Clive House. I seem to remember devoting a good deal of time trying to avoid as many activities as
possible. I took refuge in the music school and the choir (my first year). The building of the Chapel and the
arrival of the "Hammond" organ were the great events of my time there. I have been able to contact several old boys
from both the Hill School and the PoW, but I am still looking for Derek Albert and John Herbert both of whom
started at the PoW in 1958.
We left East Africa in 1959 and I finished my schooling in England. Since leaving school, I have worked and
travelled all over the world. I am now retired and spend my time between England and Romania where I own a property.
I look forward to hearing from anyone who may remember me.
