Making toffee in tins under the gum trees near Junior House
The big avocado tree by the duka near the valley (avos supplementing the school food)
Going out of bounds on the weekend in the valley and cooking mealies
Running cross country by Welcome Trust
6B biology field visits in the valley with Link Seldon
The school train from Kampala to Nairobi, especially when we shared with Limuru Girls and the Convents
Going on exeat in the School Lorry to Nairobi and selling moleskins to Osman Yakub
Visiting the cigarette factory (EAT) and EA Breweries
Rhodes winning most of the sports trophies in 1964
The annual Bicycle Safari - I used to team with Richard Fenwick and our bike was number 75 for Plateau
Often getting the cane for smoking
Kenya Combined Schools Rugby tour of Uganda 1964
Since leaving School:
Royal Marines, Helicopter Pilot, Medical Insurance Broker.
Lived in the Far East, South Africa, Oman and now in Berkshire, UK
