Old Cambrian Society (UK)
Reunion weekend

Saturday 11th June & Sunday 12th June 2005
Dover, Kent, England

Many people have asked why we always choose to hold the annual dinners on a Friday evening in London, and have commented that it would be a good idea to hold the event outside of a major city, and basically do "something different".

So, for 2005 we have taken the plunge and have arranged something totally different! .........
........ and it is hoped that your support for this event will make it the best ever Old Cambrian Society reunion!!

The main event will be Sunday lunch (12th June) held in the grand and historical surroundings of Dover Town Hall. After lunch, the Old Cambrian Society will have the use of a private marquee from which to view the Dover Pageant, and this is all included in the price of the tickets to the lunch. This will also enable everyone to continue to mingle with "long-lost friends" they will undoubtedly meet up with during the lunch.

11.30am Pre-lunch drinks reception - at Dover Town Hall
12.15pm Old Cambrian Society Sunday Carvery Lunch - at Dover Town Hall
2.30pm Dover Pageant - at Dover College

Cost of the package is £28
(to include carvery Sunday Lunch + ticket to the Dover Pageant
)

On the Saturday (11th June) an inter-house golf competition (or the likes) is being arranged at a nearby golf club, and for those not motivated by a round of golf and partying at the "19th hole", then Dover has much to offer in the way of historical buildings, etc. An informal evening is being arranged on the Saturday for people to get together over a quiet drink and/or meal in or around Dover. Details will be provided nearer the time, as the venue will depend on numbers wishing to attend.

For those more adventurous, France is a mere "stone's throw" away!!
