   North American "Old Cambrian" Reunion in Mississauga, Ontario - 8th & 9th September, 2007

  
 
North American Reunion

As this is the "First Formal gathering of OCs in North America"
the Webmaster will be flying over from the UK and he would
like to meet as many OCs as possible.

A 3 day event is planned:

Day 1 - Golf event (Friday 7th Sept)
Day 2 - Luncheon Reunion (Sat 8th Sept)
Day 3 - Niagara Falls visit (Sun 9th Sept)

Day 1 - Friday 7th September 2007 
   Golf event
This is being organised by Dave Burn at the Deerfield GC in Oakville, and will take place late morning/early afternoon.
  The approximate cost for green fees, club rentals and sharing a motorized golf cart will total just under Can$100 per person.
If you have your own golf clubs and would prefer to walk the 18 holes, the price would be about Can$65.
To facilitate planning (booking tee times and so on) Dave needs to know by mid-August
of any OCs wanting to play a round of Golf.

We have reserved the banquet hall area of the restaurant for the luncheon that can accommodate approximately 100 people.   The South Asian/Indian food buffet at the restaurant is excellent -  however, the restaurant has agreed to prepare any non-spicy food items if requested by members of our group.   There will be a cash bar with Kenyan Tusker beer!!!  
 
Accommodation: For Old Cambrians joining us from outside the Greater Toronto Area
there is a Novatel Hotel approximately a 5 minute walk to the restaurant

Day 3 - Sunday 9th September 2007
Niagara Falls
Join us on a sightseeing trip to one of the main local attractions in Southern Ontario, Niagara Falls,
as well as wineries in the Niagara region.

Transport will leave Mississauga (Novotel Hotel) at 0900 hrs, and will leave Oakville (Quality Hotel) at 0930 hrs
 
The tour will consist of a visit to Niagara Falls, three wineries and lunch
returning to Mississauga at approx. 1630 hrs (4.30 pm)
 
Cost of transport will be Can$30 per person

Lunch cost will be up to the individual as it will be per menu selection (in the region of Can$9 to $15)
The wineries will offer various tastings etc.

Final details will be announced later.
