The purpose of this “mini”
Newsletter is to remind everyone of Old Cambrian Society events that will be
taking place soon.
Reunion - Old
Cambrian Society (UK) - Annual Dinner & Reunion on Friday, 3rd
April 2009 at the RAF Club, Piccadilly, London
Maybe it’s the effects of the credit
crunch taking its toll, but numbers are down this year from the usual highs of
over 100. We have 70 registered to the dinner/reunion which takes place this
Friday in London,
so if you have not already registered with me for places, please have a think
about it as you would be very welcome. I need to give final numbers to the RAF
Club by 7pm on Wednesday 1st April. For more details, please go to -

Cambrian Society (Canada) - Luncheon Reunion on Saturday, 9th May
2009 – Mississauga, Ontario, Canada
A not to be missed
opportunity to meet fellow Old Cambrians from across North
America.
The ever popular Luncheon Reunion for all Old Cambrians across Canada and the U.S. this year is also inviting and
welcoming alumni of other East African Schools.
It takes place
on Saturday 9th May 2009 from 11:00 am
to 4:00 pm at the Host - Fine Indian Cuisine Restaurant, 33 City Center Drive, Mississauga, Ontario.

Reunion - Old
Cambrian Society (Kenya) - Reunion on Saturday, 20th
June 2009 – Nairobi, Kenya
As announced in the last Newsletter, I
will be in Kenya
for a couple of weeks in June and plan to organise a
reunion/gathering on Saturday 20th June. I am extremely grateful to
Sam Odera Agutu (Grigg
1970--5 ) and Zack Oloo
(Grigg 1970-5) who are working on arrangements in
Nairobi, and one of the ideas that may (or may not) come to fruition is to hold
a BBQ around the school swimming pool.
I’ve had a great number of OCs
contacting me expressing an interest in coming along to this event, and I just
have a feeling that it will be one of the best Old Cambrian Society events.
More details to follow shortly.
Reunion - Old
Cambrian Society (USA) - Reunion – Monday 6th
July 2009 – New York,
USA
I will be in Manhattan, NY
on 6th and 7th July, and would like to meet up with
fellow Old Cambrians for an evening event on Monday, 6th July. Just
a small number have so far expressed an interest, so if you would like to join
us, please let me know. Venue and time will be announced once plans are finalised.
