After leaving The Prince of Wales School, Kester Brown trained as an anaesthetist. He has trained anaesthetists from 40 countries and lectured or taught in over 70. He was involved with the World Federation of Societies of Anaesthesiologists for 20 years - as president for 2000-2004. Kester has now written his memoirs in two volumes - one medical, called Catalyst and the second called Free Spirit. There are several Prince of Wales School photos in Free Spirit which may be of interest to Old Cambrians; it has over 400 pictures - 48 pages are in colour.
