I spent 5 years in England marketing central heating fuels for a Mobil Oil distributor,
then travelled to New Zealand in 1967 to join my sister and brother in law (Barry Davies,
POW 1949-1955) who had emigrated there in 1962. I joined a chemical company, marketing
industrial chemicals, plastics and fertilizers.
In 1981 I started my own import/export
company, trading in fertilizers, chemicals and more recently in nutraceuticals. I was married
in 1972 to Marilyn who is from Queensland. We have three children, Jenny is 28, Caryn is 25 and
Daniel is 20, and I have a grand daughter Imogen, 7.
Please read my essay entitled "Princo". It was written
mainly for my kids - they asked various questions about my days in Kenya, so I wrote the
essay about PoW among various other essays about Kenya.
