After school, Kenya Regiment, University of Exeter, University of Kentucky Graduate School. Thereafter, a lot of variety,
dividing time between USA, UK and Kenya, with some time in Malawi. Eight years Education Officer in Kenya (Nakuru, Narok,
Machakos), spare time big game hunting and trout fishing, often with Ole Sunde (Nicholson). Teaching and writing in San
Francisco. Latterly, ten years in Mombasa, spare time spent big game fishing, often with James Adcock (Hawke). Wrote
fishing column in Coastweek.
Moved to the UK in August 2004 to enjoy family: two daughters, two sons-in-law, five grandchildren. Currently
teaching, writing and introducing grandchildren to fly-fishing.
